Hello interweb world! Welcome to our very first official blog post (just a little scary!). As this is our first post, I figured this would be as good a time as any to tell you just a little bit about us.
Once upon a time, Kristin and I were both headed off to the University of Missouri’s Journalism school. We had never met before seeing as I am a born and bred Texan and Kristin is from St. Louis, but the connection was immediate. I don’t remember the exact details now, but I remember Kristin sending me a message asking if I had any interest in randomly rooming with her to try and avoid going completely potluck. We started chatting about ourselves and our college plans. When the discussion of decorating our dorm came up we ended up realizing we had both planned to buy the exact same Anthropologie quilt.
Clearly, it was fate.
We went on to live together for pretty much the rest of our college experience, eventually moving into our beloved Apt #407. (Pssst if you didn’t already guess, this is totally where our biz name comes from.)
And now you know about us, here’s a few things you may not know about us as individuals:
DID YOU KNOW LINDSAY…
Is completely addicted to Harry Potter? You can almost always find me listening to one of the seven audiobooks while I design, drive, and even sleep.
Is a wine expert? Well, maybe not an expert. But, I’m definitely an enthusiast.
Is a total globetrotter? I’ve been to 9 countries and counting!
Is a Netflix binge-watching queen? I watched all of LOST in the month of January a few years ago and all of season six in just one day. #noshameinmygame
Has the voice that sounds like a combination of Fergie and Jesus? (Step Brothers, anyone?) I'm a big karaoke fanatic and am totally obsessed with musicals.
DID YOU KNOW KRISTIN...
Is left handed? And weirdly proud of it even though I know its not that unique.
Is the best mashed potato maker in all the land? Shhh, I'll let you in on my secret. Cream cheese!
Is also a globetrotter? I’ve got Lindsay barely beat with ten.
Is a pretty dreadful speller? Seriously, thank goodness for spell check and Lindsay because I’ve never fully conquered this skill.
Is made fun of by friends + family for still sleeping with a stuffed animal? But I'm zero percent ashamed.
